 SAFE-Africa undertakes research, advocacy, community action and extension services along agricultural and livelihood value chains, food system elements and outcomes, with the aim of providing empirical basis for transforming and orienting them to provide environmentally sustainable, socially just, healthier and secure food systems and nutrition status to the African populace, especially the underserved women, youth and people living with disability.
